Come Referee Competitive Soccer for RUSC!

To qualify as a licensed referee you must attend a Referee Clinic, which is typically a one or two day course that is offered during the winter or early spring months. All licensed referees must attend a re certification course each year to maintain their status. 

Step 1:  Register
Go to the Minnesota State Referee Committee webpage (www.minnesotasrc.com) and register as a new referee.The first thing they will want during registration is money - be prepared to pay by credit card.

Step 2:  Watch the Videos
You must watch some videos before you can select a clinic.  The total time that you should expect for the videos and quizzes is six to eight hours.  

Step 3:  Select the Location and Date for Classroom Training that works for your schedule.

Step 4: Attend the Classroom Training. 
The classroom portion will be seven to eight hours for the Grade 8 badge. Part of the class will be a quiz that you must pass in order to get a badge.
