Community based, community run, affordable soccer programs

Recreation Program Information

RUSC recreational soccer leagues are an introductory program devoted to the enjoyment of the game and the development of players. In our recreational league, the emphasis is on fun, learning how to play the game, and developing life-long skills. Players should be free to make mistakes without feeling high-level pressure from coaches and parents to win.

Volunteer to Coach!

When you are signing your child up to play soccer, remember that none of this is possible without the wonderful volunteers we call coaches!   It is not a requirement for coaches to have previous playing or coaching experience to participate. We ask coaches to be positive role models for players and ensure the kids have fun. RUSC provides the necessary gear and provides training opportunities and lessons for coaches to have a fun and successful year.

Coach Discount
Full registration cost reimbursement.   Coach must be able to make (at minimum) 60% of game days or find a sub for a date missing. Registration will be refunded at the end of the season.  If you are interested in coaching, follow the instructions under the registration tab.

Play Up
Please let us know during registration if your player would be better suited playing up at a higher skill level, we will take this into consideration during team formation.

Buddy Requests
All Buddy requests must be made during registration, we will try our best to accommodate any buddy requests, however team formations will be based on the number of volunteer coaches and how flexible we can be with forming teams. Please consider volunteering as a coach if you are making any buddy requests.

Minnesota weather is unpredictable. We are hoping all snow will be gone by the start of our Spring Season. There however, is a chance that we would need to push back the start of our Spring program one week due to Minnesota Spring Weather. In this case, we will have our “makeup date” scheduled for Thursday, June 1s

Program Options
We offer three separate programs listed below.  Register for 1, 2, or all 3 programs.  Each program is an individual fee.
